A new domain for the new online website of CSD Canteen id https://afd.csdindia.gov.in/
The CSD (Canteen Stores Department) has finally launched a new web portal for Armed Forces Personnel and Ex-Servicemen to buy AFD items online. In order to simplify the procedure of purchasing AFD items, the site has been well designed and launched as the trail now!
All CSD customers have to register on this portal mandatory.
How to register in afd.csdindia.gov.in?
Step 1: Open the CSD AFD Online website with the direct link is given below:
Step 2: Click on the “SHOP NOW” button shows on the Login Webpage.
Step 3: Click on “Not a member yet? Register Now”. This option enables the
new users to register on the website. Before you start registration, make sure to keep the following things with you:
1. Grocery/ Canteen card
2. Pan card
3. Mobile number for OTP verification
Step 4: Illustrates the registration form. Name, Card ID, Chip number should be exactly the way they are printed on the Grocery card/ Canteen card. The mobile number will be verified through OTP. After entering the number Click “Send OTP”.
If a new user with a username/ grocery card/ PAN number already
exists, an error screen will be displayed. No user can have the same details like Username, e-mail, etc. If the error persists user may contact the help desk.
If “Date of enrolment/commissioning” is less than 5 years old then users
will not be entitled to buy any products. Once the form is filled, press “Submit”. If the form is correctly filled. The user will get the notification as shown in the image. The user will not be able to log in right away. Post submission admin will verify the details and then grant access. User will receive the mail like shown in the below image upon form submission
Once the registration is approved, the user will receive a mail like shown in
the below image.
Step 5: After Login, users will be prompted to enter OTP sent on their phones.

How to buy AFD items on CSD online Website?
Only registered customers can buy an AFD item in the online portal. Select the product, check the price, select URC canteen, select dealer, and go to the payment option. All CSD Customers are advised to confirm the price and availability before processing of online purchase.
What is a CSD AFD item?
Against Firm Demand (AFD) is a paper sale. AFD item sale in CSD canteen is a documented sale between customer and dealer. Pay the amount of the selected item to CSD and the dealer will supply the item to the doorstep directly.
Centralized Receipt of Payments from CSD Beneficiaries towards AFD Purchases
The issue was taken with the AFD portal and team Razor pay for the clarification and it has been clarified that the details shown while remitting money on the AFD portal of yes bank are authentic and the account is virtually attached with AFD portal only for the remittance purpose to our Main Account (i.e. CSD Head Office Main Account AFD-I Receipts Only).
