Canteen Stores Department (CSD) AFD Online Portal Latest News
The CSD AFD Online Portal (afd.csdindia.gov.in) undergoes a temporary closure every month for a period of 3 to 4 days. This is done to update the site and settle financial transactions with OEM. During this period, CSD beneficiaries will not be able to view available items or check the latest prices of Car, Bike, Scooter, AC, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, and other such products. Once the update is complete, the site will return to normal operations. In addition, the CSD AFD Team will update the website with available items and prices as necessary, which may result in another temporary closure of the portal. We request all CSD AFD customers to refrain from registering, logging in, or making bookings during these periods. It is important to note that this service is exclusively provided by the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) to Armed Forces Personnel and Ex-Servicemen on a non-profitable basis.
AFD CSD Portal Sales Started in April 2023!
The Canteen Stores Department (CSD) AFD Online Portal has issued the following instructions to all existing users registered with the AFD Portal. Firstly, users are required to verify their email address. Secondly, users need to update their pay level through the “Update Registration Form” option available in the Menu between 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM daily. Admin approval will be granted by the Office of DDGCS for any changes made. Existing users can only make demands after completing the aforementioned steps.
It is important to bring to the attention of beneficiaries that water purifiers and LED/LCD/Plasma products are currently unavailable due to ongoing price revisions by OEMs. Efforts are being made with OEMs to update prices as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please note that images on the portal are not actual representations of the products. Beneficiaries are advised to visit respective OEMs’ websites or dealers’ showrooms to see actual products and images. If an item/index is not visible on the portal, it means that the selling rate has not been submitted by the OEM due to changes in model/price/production issues, etc. Such items will be available for sale as soon as rates are received and updated in the portal.
For all refund cases, CSD beneficiaries need to submit an application to the nominated URC along with an affidavit mentioning the reason for refund, a canceled cheque for bank details for refunding the amount, original copy of PO and authority letter, and proof of payments made (UTR NO, etc.) for processing refund by URC and concerned CSD depots.
Please refer to the Contact Us section on the portal to obtain details of email IDs to approach concerned offices. Also, please refer to the “FAQ, Eligibility Criteria, and How to Make Payment” menus on the portal before placing any demand. Dear beneficiaries, please note that “User Registration & any Modifications” can only be made between 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM daily.
AFD CSD Portal Sales Started in October 2022!
CSD AFD Online Portal Message October 2022: Dear Beneficiary, please note that with effect from 1st October 2022, the applicability of Compensation Cess on CSD Outward Supplies on Four Wheelers & Two Wheelers (as applicable) is being implemented by CSD HO. Hence there will be a slight increase in the selling cost of the vehicles due to GST implications. The sales has been started for the month of October 2022.

AFD CSD Portal Sales Started for the month of July 2022!
The regular online sale of Cars, Bikes, Scooters, and Electronic Items has been started for the month of July 2022.

“Sale has been started for the month of July 2022: Please note: The images in the portal are not actual. Beneficiaries may visit the respective OEM’s website or dealers’ showroom to know/see the actual product and image”.
CSD AFD Online Store in 2022!
The regular online sale of Cars, Bikes, Scooters, and Electronic Items has been started for the month of February 2022 in the CSD AFD Online Web Portal! After the maintenance period and settlement of account administration of the portal, the sales have been started in the first week of February 2022.

Attention: Esteemed Beneficiaries & Business Partners: It has come to our notice that a few third-party firms pose themselves as agents and middlemen for facilitating various works in the department. A few fake websites of CSD and AFD portals have been created by such unauthorized persons to misguide stakeholders of the CSD. It is clarified that the ‘Canteen Stores Department’ is a government of India organization under the ministry of defense. We do not deal with the agents/ middlemen and/ or their representatives, in any way. Utilizing the services of such unauthorized persons by any firm, if established may lead to unilateral deletion of their products and possible blacklisting. All beneficiaries are advised to exercise caution and log into the AFD portal by visiting our official website www.csdindia.gov.in

CSD AFD Portal Beware Caution Message September 2021
Caution Message from CSD AFD Portal: Canteen Stores Department (afd.csdindia.gov.in) has displayed a caution message on its portal. All CSD AFD customers should follow the instructions.
The official CSD AFD website does not send an email, SMS, or calls over the phone to get customers’ personal information, and password or seek one-time SMS (high security) passwords or ask customers to download any APP or payment link to transfer money, etc. [Click to read more]

With effect from 15th May 2021 Only for loan cases, the loan amount sanctioned by Bank can be made by direct bank transfer into the bank account of CSD HO, and the balance amount if any has to be deposited through AFD Portal Payment Gateway only.
