Caution Message from CSD AFD Portal
Canteen Stores Department (afd.csdindia.gov.in) has displayed a caution message on its portal. All CSD AFD customers should follow the instructions.
The official CSD AFD website does not send an email, SMS or calls over the phone to get customer’s personal information, password or seek one time SMS (high security) passwords or ask customers to download any APP or payment link to transfer money etc.
CSD AFD customers are requested never to respond to such email/ SMS or phone call and do not share personal information.
ln case customers are responding to such messages, it will be at their own risk and cost.
CSD AFD Online Portal purchasing facility has been made online since December 2020.
Please login into the portal to know the CSD registered dealers and price list also (https://afd.csdindia.gov.in)
CSD beneficiaries should not make payment directly to CSD registered dealers for purchasing AFD-1 items.
Online payment only has to be made through the Payment Gateway option provided in the CSD AFD portal.
All AFD-1 items purchase will happen through the CSD AFD portal only. (ie) https://afd.csdindia.gov.in and no other URL/ web address to be used.

Eligibility for Purchasing Car
All Military Serving Officers and Retired are eligible to buy a Car from CSD once in 4 years and up to 2500 CC capacity.
All Military Hony Commissioned JCO including Retired are eligible to buy a car from CSD once in 7 years and up to 1500 CC Equivalent capacity
All Armed Forces JCOs / OR and equivalent personnel including retired are eligible to buy a car once while in service and once after retirement up to 1400cc capacity.
