This platform, known as the CSD AFD online portal (afd.csdindia.gov.in), shares similarities with popular private online stores such as Reliance Online Digital and Croma Online Store. However, there are two key differences between these private portals and the CSD AFD portal. Firstly, the prices of items on the CSD AFD portal are lower than those in the open market. Secondly, customers must obtain a Local Supply Order (LS Order) from their nearest Unit Run Canteen (URC) to finalize their purchase.
