This platform, known as the CSD AFD online portal (afd.csdindia.gov.in), is similar to popular private online stores like Reliance Online Digital and Croma Online Store. However, there are two important differences between the private portals and the CSD AFD portal. Firstly, the prices of items on the CSD AFD portal are lower than those in the open market. Secondly, customers need to obtain a Local Supply Order (LS Order) from their nearest Unit Run Canteen (URC) to complete their purchase.
