CSD AFD Two-Wheeler Eligibility Requirements in 2024
Individuals who possess a smart card are qualified to purchase a bike, scooter, EV scooter, or EV bike (any two-wheelers) through the CSD AFD online portal. It should be noted that only one bike can be bought at a time, and this transaction can only be done once every four years, starting from the date of the last purchase.
The eligibility requirements for CSD AFD air conditioners in 2024
Within a four-year period, individuals with a smart card are eligible to purchase up to four Air Conditioners (ACs) through the CSD AFD online portal. It is important to emphasize that only one AC can be obtained at a given time.
CSD AFD Television Eligibility Criteria in 2024
Only individuals who possess a smart card have the privilege to acquire a Television Set (TV) through the CSD AFD online portal. The purchase of a TV is limited to one unit at a time, and it can be made once within a four-year period. However, it is possible to purchase up to four air conditioners within this same time frame.
Criteria for Purchasing at the CSD Canteen
The CSD Canteen allows the following individuals to make purchases:
1. Serving and retired Armed Forces Personnel with a pay level ranging from 1 to 18.
2. Serving and retired Defence Civilian employees with a pay level ranging from 1 to 18.
3. Family pensioners of Defence Civilians with a pay level ranging from 1 to 18.
Moreover, there is a minimum four-year gap requirement for purchasing the same item, specifically a two-wheeler, from the date of the last purchase. Additionally, it is important to note that only one type of AFD-1 item can be purchased within the specified time gap mentioned earlier.
